Not sure how to achieve a Modern Boho Christmas Look to go with your home this year?
In this post, I’ll walk you though my design choices and my selections to keep the Boho style on point while still adding in the Christmas Magic.
First, I picked a simple color palette for my dining room Boho decor. I selected evergreen, sage, white and cream. I added in some sparkle with champagne gold, but overall my color choices were neutral, natural and elegant.
Second, I selected elements were natural or have a natural feel like wooden beads, kraft paper, jute tassels, wooden stars, lambs ear floral stems, and pine cones.
Next, to add a bit of whimsy and spice things up, I picked these natural wood nutcrackers and wrapped up some empty boxes with Kraft paper as fake presents to tied up with string. This gives my tree something unexpected adding interest and charm to the overall Boho look.
Then, to add one more element of surprise, I draped a tone on tone floral greenery garland along the same line as the wooden bead garland in my tree.
Last, I added finishing details like icicles, delicate clear snowflakes, and a basket of snowballs under my tree.
My coordinating Boho details are carried all the way from the top of the tree with a burlap bow down to the floor with the tree skirt and wrapped gifts.
Don’t have any Boho ornaments. No worries. Most of the items on my Boho Tree this year were decor items from around my house. The rest were inexpensive finds or DIY ornaments I made. You don’t have to break the bank to get an elegant Boho Style Christmas Tree. Mix and Mingle in what you have.
I love the way this Boho Style Christmas Tree turned out this year. What do you think? Is a Boho Tree in your future?
